Lovely stay and helpful hosts Positive: The interior was very modern and tidy with everything colour coordinated. It had a very spacious kitchen and living room and a good sized fridge freezer Negative: The out side of the apartment is a bit sketchy and may be a little dangerous at night

like a lemon sherbet hard candy, if you like lemon sherberts, which i do Positive: Didn't expect to find a place this good in Sheffield. The entrance was dodgy, and the whole area was a bit rough, so I was thinking the flat would look nothing like the pictures. Lo and behold, it was as if the pictures were taken the day before. All rooms were spacious, very well equipped, and nicely decorated, with comfy beds in the two twin rooms. The shower was a personal highlight: perfect water pressure, the kind that thoroughly drenches you and tickles your scalp just right. Shower not recommended for the legless (impressed if you made it upstairs without legs) due to the massive step over the tub walls. The double mirror/sink situation was pretty cute. Great carpets all throughout. Everything was very clean. Exceedingly well-furnished kitchen and living facilities (washer dryer, etc.). There are so many damm pillows in that apartment, not a complaint, just an observation, but you could definitely get a fantastic pillow fort in. Well located in the city and easy to reach from the station. Flat had a cute aesthetic too, which really makes you feel like you're at someone's home. Fantastic heaters, it was never cold, even with this awful January weather. Also, having the TV at the height it was turned out to be unexpectedly comfortable, especially for a lie-back (on the infinite amount of pillows) and a Zelda gaming sesh. Lovely views of abandoned buildings, great for people watching the crazies late at night. Going up the stairs seemed annoying at first, but ultimately gave the apartment a nice separation from the street and city (cause god knows we don't need more Sheffield). Negative: You know, when you eat a lemon sherbet, and you bite your tongue, it's annoying in the moment, but it goes away, and you forget? Well, here's the parallel and the reasoning behind the lemon sherbet review. One day, I arrived to find the whole keyhole mechanism missing from the front door; there was nowhere to put your key, you could not get in, and you could not get out. Fortunately, the owners and management here are sharp and got us a locksmith to sort it all out, easy peasy. Now onto the nitpicks (because I have a compulsion to write winding reviews) - the ensuite tub and shower in the double bedroom were labeled as not working, not an issue, cause theres a second bathroom, but it would've been nice to have been notified on the front end - Not clearly told where to leave the bin bags - forks, knives, etc., were in the second drawer, not the top drawer??? Seemed illogical, so we swapped them around. - The books on the coffee table are emptier than a high schooler's balls after prom night, not upset, just disappointed I didn't get to read about Milan and London.

Lovely well equipped apartment Positive: Lovely spacious apartment, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, very well equipped kitchen. Very convenient location for ponds forge. Negative: Entrance hallway is grotty and there are students in the flat below who were noisy at night. There is also quite a bit of noise from the street but if you have earplugs or sleeping pills it's ok

Overall a good experience, very convenient for what we needed. Positive: Lovely, well equipped apartment that was tastefully decorated and had some beautiful architectural features, such as high ceilings and bay windows with stone frames. Check in was easy, Hosts were very friendly, helpful and quick to respond, great central location for Ponds Forge, City Centre, Trams etc Negative: Only slight disappointment was the communal entrance was a bit of a mess and not terribly clean. The hosts are now aware of this and given their commitment to ensuring their guests enjoy their stay, I'm sure they will resolve this and we may have just got unlucky on the days we stayed.
